1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Loqum platform, operated by Loqum Solutions ("Loqum", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using any part of the platform, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use Loqum.

These Terms apply to all users of the platform, including pharmacists seeking locum shifts and pharmacies posting shift vacancies. Where terms differ between these two groups, this is made clear.

2. Who We Are

Loqum Solutions is a technology company registered in Nigeria. We operate an online marketplace that connects verified healthcare professionals — currently pharmacists — with pharmacies and healthcare facilities that require temporary staffing cover. We are not an employment agency and do not employ pharmacists directly.

3. Eligibility

To use Loqum, you must:

— Be at least 18 years of age.

— Be a licensed pharmacist registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN), if registering as a healthcare professional.

— Be a legally registered pharmacy or healthcare facility operating in Nigeria, if registering as an employer.

— Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.

Loqum reserves the right to refuse access or terminate accounts where eligibility requirements are not met.

4. Account Registration & Verification

All users must create an account to access the platform. Pharmacists are required to complete a professional verification process, which includes validation of their PCN registration number. Until verification is complete, pharmacists cannot accept shifts.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@loqum.health if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

5. How the Platform Works

Loqum enables pharmacies to post available shifts and pharmacists to browse and book those shifts. All shift bookings are made directly between pharmacists and pharmacies through the platform. Loqum facilitates this connection but is not a party to any individual shift agreement.

Pharmacists set their own hourly rates, which are visible to pharmacies before any booking is confirmed. Once a booking is accepted by both parties, both are expected to honour the agreed terms of that shift.

6. Invoicing & Payments

Upon completion of a shift, Loqum automatically generates an invoice on behalf of the pharmacist and sends it to the pharmacy. Payment terms are governed by the agreed shift details. Loqum is not responsible for disputes between pharmacists and pharmacies regarding payment, but will assist where possible.

Loqum may charge a commission or service fee on completed bookings. Any applicable fees will be communicated clearly before they apply.

7. User Responsibilities

All users agree to:

— Provide accurate information at all times.

— Use the platform only for lawful purposes.

— Treat other users with professionalism and respect.

— Not misrepresent qualifications, availability, or shift requirements.

— Not attempt to circumvent the platform to arrange bookings outside of Loqum.

Pharmacies additionally agree to provide safe working environments and accurate descriptions of shift requirements. Pharmacists additionally agree to arrive punctually and fulfil the responsibilities of the role as described.

8. Cancellations

Both pharmacists and pharmacies may cancel a confirmed shift, subject to the cancellation policy in effect at the time of booking. Repeated cancellations may result in account restrictions or removal from the platform. Loqum reserves the right to update its cancellation policy and will notify users of any changes.

9. Reviews & Ratings

Following a completed shift, both pharmacists and pharmacies may leave a review. Reviews must be honest, fair, and based on actual experience. Loqum reserves the right to remove reviews that are abusive, false, or in violation of these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Loqum platform — including the name, logo, design, and software — is the property of Loqum Solutions and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

Loqum Solutions provides the platform on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the platform will be free of errors. To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Loqum Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Loqum is not liable for the conduct of any pharmacist or pharmacy on the platform, or for any loss arising from a shift arrangement made through Loqum.

12. Termination

Loqum Solutions reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time if a user is found to be in breach of these Terms, or for any other reason at our discretion. Users may also close their accounts at any time by contacting us at support@loqum.health.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify users via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of Loqum after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.

15. Contact Us

If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at support@loqum.health. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 2 business days.
